DOWNLOAD THE EXTENSION

Click the button below to download extension-v1.0.zip to your computer.

📁 The file will be saved to your Downloads folder (typically C:\Users\YourName\Downloads)

UNZIP THE FILE

Windows: Right-click on extension-v1.0.zip → Select "Extract All..." → Choose a location (e.g., Desktop or Documents) → Click "Extract"

macOS: Simply double-click extension-v1.0.zip and it will auto-extract to the same folder

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Make sure you have a folder named extension after unzipping (not a ZIP file!)

OPEN CHROME EXTENSIONS PAGE

Open Google Chrome browser and navigate to the extensions management page:

💡 Alternative methods:
• Menu (⋮) → "Extensions" → "Manage Extensions"
• Or press Ctrl+Shift+E (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+E (Mac)

ENABLE DEVELOPER MODE

In the top-right corner of the Extensions page, find the toggle labeled "Developer mode" and turn it ON (it should turn blue/active).

✅ Once enabled, you'll see new buttons appear: "Load unpacked", "Pack extension", and "Update"

LOAD THE EXTENSION

Click the "Load unpacked" button that appeared after enabling Developer mode.

A file browser dialog will open. Navigate to where you unzipped the extension (Step 2) and select the extension folder (the one containing manifest.json, popup.html, etc.).

⚠️ Select the FOLDER itself, not the files inside it!

✅ If successful, you'll see "Vectora AI Check" appear in your extensions list with a puzzle piece icon.

CONFIGURE API KEYS (REQUIRED)

Click on the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar (you may need to pin it first from the puzzle piece menu), then click "Settings" or the gear icon.

Enter your API keys:

• Gemini API: Get from Google AI Studio
• Groq API: Get from Groq Console
• Cerebras API: Get from Cerebras Cloud

💡 You need at least ONE API key to use the extension!

START USING VECTORA

The extension is now ready! You can use it in three ways:

• Text Analysis: Select any text → Right-click → "Check AI Authenticity"
• Image Analysis: Right-click on any image → "Check AI Authenticity"
• Popup Interface: Click the extension icon to analyze text, images, or screen captures
